Meet Our People

I have worked full-time in this field since 1984 when we ran a 22-bed residential home for people with learning disabilities.

I managed this home with Gary Kent and his parents and after Gary’s parents died, we set up day services and supported living services.

Realising that residential care was not the way we wanted for the people we supported, we closed the home with close liaison with all agencies, and the majority of the people moved into their own homes and we provided the support staff they needed who assisted them to be as independent as possible.

With over 20 years experience and the knowledge that we can provide a top quality support service, this lead us to starting New Key specialising in supporting people with learning disabilities to live in their own homes and to gain as much independence as possible and to be in total control of their own lives.
